| General Info: Great Meadow Farms offers a variety of horses for sale. We try to the best of our ability to suit horses and riders. We inform potential buyers about the horses to the best of our knowledge. We can answer any questions in person, via email, or over the phone. We perform general exams, shots, and coggins on all of our horses. |
| Appointments: If you need to cancel an appointment please call us. DO NOT EMAIL! We show the horses by appointment only. To make an appointment or get directions please call 603-487-2730. |
| Showings: At a showing of a horse we demonstrate cross-tying, tacking up and riding for the buyer. At that point they can choose to ride the horse or not. We have a 100x160 outdoor arena where the horses are shown. Depending on the horse being shown, jumps, poles, obsticles, etc. can be placed for the horse and rider to try. Riders are encouraged to wear approved safety gear. |
| Vet Checks: When the horses first come to our farm they are given a general check by our own vet. At that point we give them any procedures they require. Buyers can choose to have a vet check or not, using either our vet or their own (Buyers expense). We don't have any business arrangement with our vets, so buyers can feel confident using them. |
| Trial Periods: Due to recent experiences with trials, we no longer offer a trial period. Health and soundness can be assured with a vet check. Sorry for this inconvenience, but we are more worried about the well-being of our animals. If you have any questions or concerns, please call or email. |
| Transportation: Transportation can either be done by us (depending on trip length), by the buyer, or by a very good transporter we have contact with (Buyers expense). Buyers will be provided with her number if they would like it. |
| Trades: We except trades (full or part/cash) only if the horse has resale value to us. If you would like to talk to someone about a trade please call the farm. |
